Cool - that's interesting (though maybe that there's so much variation shouldn't be surprising). Does that mean 'fiction' in whatever phrase would be pronounced in the English way, so you would get variation in the pronunciation as well? I think I assumed German fans would read 'fiction' on screen with a German 'tion' rather than an English one.
