Right, I think I have a plan! As I discovered yesterday (and always discover), no matter how much I edit, there is nothing that equals the experience of having the words in the posting window and reading them over on the preview - so, the idea of doing nine more chapters on the
seasonal_spuffy free-for-all day, while at WCUK, is all a bit daft. Therefore, I will be posting them over the next week here, on mah journal. But I need to get the first lot up first, so I'm going to be posting chapters 2 and 3 now, then 4-6 tomorrow. As you shall discover, this makes sense narratively speaking and, also, actually fits the timeline, weirdly enough.
Because I'm really not a fan of those stats tables-things, though, I'm just going to intro the fic with these pleasant looking paragraphs. It saves half the page!
Turn and Face the Strain.
[Sequel to The More Things Stay the Same and As Good as a Rest.]
When Buffy thought about falling in love again, she didn't expect it to be nearly so complicated as it actually turns out to be.
Also, she didn't expect it to be Spike. (She's not sure he did either.)
[Notes + Chapter One: I'm Not a Political Animal, But.]
.
( Chapter Two: You Learn Fast around Here. )
