I squealed out loud when Mitchell said "I just wanted you to like me" - that's his modus operandi, innit, do whatever it takes to get the most people to like you. It was kinda an inversion of the "vamps who are evil but we can't help liking them" thing that happens in fiction, because that's what Mitchell wants, to be quirky and attractive enough to fit into that existing trope.
Yeah, it was good with that, wasn't it? It's one of the things I don't really like about Mitchell's character, but it was very nice to see that the show's aware of it. And the whole Purgatory business really stood up to a second viewing, so now I'm doubly a fan of Lia.
I don't know what to think about the M/A. Mostly because I don't really now how much I trust Toby Whithouse with the storyline: while he does give us the opportunity to see victims have a go at Mitchell, he also brought Herrick back, who should have stayed dead. We shall see, I suppose, and probably quite quickly.
