And hee! Clearly I overestimated the number of flisters who would know what the heck I was talking about in this post... As I said to shapinglight on LJ: it's the Organization for Transformative Works, which got set up a few years ago to do a number of things in terms of preserving fandom history and advocating for fandom in a more public setting and probably other things, but I'm not actually 100% what their precise mission statement is, since they say, "The Organization for Transformative Works (OTW) is a nonprofit organization run by and for fans to provide access to and preserve the history of fanworks and fan cultures.", but there's kind of the internet for that. They run the AO3 archive!
