The good thing about the Worcester relatives is that when they come we all just get trashed. Hooray!
The bad thing is that, because my parents bought my a TV for Christmas (yays!!), I bought myself a 60GB PS3 off eBay to play all my old games and have fun new times - but it didn't work!!! The seller is being nice (so far) and says he'll pay me back for repairs which I am going to send the console away for, but right now I'm sad and miffed and don't want to engage. Thus I am absent. Sad panda, etc. :(
The interesting thing is that my brother has mostly been convinced to play Star Wars: The Old Republic (ie. the new Star Wars themed MMO), and watching that has been relatively entertaining. (I'm going to put this out there: I hate real-time fighting, but watching someone who can do it without giving me a headache is quite good, and when the dialogue's fun, the dialogue's fun. No decent shopping so far as I can tell, but I put up with this for not having to do anything.) Star Wars is essentially milking the franchise for all it's worth now, but our sarcastic female smuggler character is excellent, and basically sounds like Faith. Plus, playing all the 'light side' options as a Sith Inquisitor (who we have characterised as a mix of Hermione Granger and Aeris from FFVII) gives you the most hilarious exchanges in the world.
So is Christmas. And that.
PS.
shapinglight got me a Festive Penguin!! Thank yoooouuuu!!! It's so adorable and festive.
