Yeah, that didn't happen. But I did buy a new type of tea (rooibos, pear and cinnamon) because the bastard Saturday shoppers had taken all of my preferred type (lemongrass, mint and yerba mate), and I bought black treacle and Coke (not on the best deal, because that had gone too - I ended up with sixteen cans for £7 rather than 15 for a fiver) and I bought some posh tomatoes to make my salad more exciting and...
I think your shopping list would need far more baking ingredients before I understood it as 'basic'! ;)
