...is tiring. But also strange. My weekends usually consist of such an intense level of bugger all that it's quite standard for me to get to half past three on Saturday and not really be sure what I've done for the last five/six hours. I've stopped questioning it, so I take that as acceptably dead time - but that means that now I've plonked myself back at home (and discovered that it is in fact half past three), it feels like I've somehow managed to do a load of work in negative time. Saturday's only just begun, clearly - but it also included six hours of library time? The sums don't add up...

When I was practicing law, weekends tended to be my time to do research or "desk work". It never felt like there was any delineation between work week and weekend unless I completely took the weekend off and did something else entirely, which then just made me nuts because I'd have to find time during the week to do what I'd have normally done on the weekend.

Have a little fun somewhere in there during this weekend.

Hee, I get it. I managed to make my weekend feel three times longer than normal by going out for dinner and a sleepover on Friday night and dinner on Saturday night. What, it's still only Sunday morning? How can this be? Sweet!
