Hi! It's really fun to hear your voice. My only problem is I think of replies while I'm listening, but by the time I get to the end of the three minutes, they've gone out of my head again. Mostly, you're making me nostalgic for the very similar course I took in Austria, before starting my year at Uni Wien. One of the coolest parts was hearing why all my classmates, who were as diverse as yours, were learning German in Vienna.

I've eaten at Subway maybe half a dozen times in my life, out of necessity. I always go in thinking, "It can't possibly be as bad as I remember. It's a sandwich. How screw-up-able can it be?" And I'm always amazed.

Hello!! I'm never quite sure how to respond to audio either (sometimes I keep a running commentary open in a comment box, but that just ends up with a load of blather), but I'm glad you enjoyed listening! It is very fun meeting the new people, although most of them are quite unoriginal in their reasoning for being here, going with 'I'm learning French/I've been learning French/I'm coming to the university next semester' - alas.

Subway utterly confuses me. I'm not sure how much it's even a case of the sandwich being bad, because the squidgy soft bread has its place, but I find it's completely impossible to create a good sandwich there, rather than a confusing mishmash.
